Eek!

A nice lady drove in to the VW dealership this morning with a slithery stowaway!

She noticed something on her floormat out of the corner of her eye, and leaned over for a closer look.

As her eyes started to discern one shape from another, she spied two gleaming little eyes staring back at her from beneath a pike of gleaming coils.

Quicker than she could say "Where's the crocodile hunter when you need him?", the little beastie slithered under the passenger seat.

She walked inside and got the attention of some of the service guys.

Our brave chaps piled out the door to rescue the lady (and the snake).

Phones were everywhere documenting the adventure as the snake was pulled from under the seat.

How's that for a lively morning? ;)

Margarita Night With The Cool Kids

Tonight I got an invite to join the cool kids of Tyler for the illustrious "margarita night" at Gilbert's ElCharro.

I feel like this type of achievement deserves a merit badge.

My "the usual", a humble glass of club soda with lime was overshadowed by the greatness of their superb-looking Patron filled, blended beverages.

Conversation was excellent, and I left feeling truly blessed to have been invited. Tyler has some cool kids after all! ;)

Driving home, I spotted a telephone pole filled with birds...so I took a picture of it for you Internet buddies!

Goodnight, sleep tight, and don't let the bed bugs bite!

But really... It's not.

Ladies and gents, I give you my midnight snack...cranberry juice and an imitation chocolate bar wrapped iPhone 4.

;)

My case just came in the mail from EBay...it was like $2.00. You should buy one too...they're good for your whimsy!

As for the cranberry juice...don't judge me...but I like it! It's too strong to chug, so you're forced to sip it, and properly chilled, it has become my preggers alternative to a glass of wine.

Feeding Bump a pretend bear while playing with the houndlies, then hitting the hay.

I'm a little bit addicted to the Sleep Cycle app on my phone. It makes healthy living habits easier. I've been getting more than 8 hours of rest a night.

Going to figure out how much sleep I need to function well...mostly so I know how much I'm missing when Bump gets here! ;)

Goodnight Internet. Sleep well. I've already checked your closets and under the bed for monsters and the coast is clear!

I'm mentally tucking you in, reading you a bedtime story about adventures far away, and making sure you have a glass of water...but one that's only half full...because everyone knows that you'll wet the bed if you dream of adventures far away on a full bladder. ;)

My Sister Can Drive A Tractor Like A Beast!

We're selling tractor attachments on Craigslist, and a nice gentleman swung by to pick up his brand new, very used box blade.

My sister Anna was gracious enough to load the box blade into the back of the nice gentleman's truck.

The catch was that she had never loaded anything into a truck before...and the box blade had less than an inch of room on either side of the truck bed.

It had to be perfect, and she rocked it!

Hey Internet, my dog Ollie just stepped on a sneakity scorpion and it stung him. Any ideas on what will make swelling go down?

I gave him half of a benedryl as per the Google suggestion, and have been icing it. Any other ideas?

We're out of meat tenderizer, but I'll pick some up tomorrow for any future run-ins!

P.S. Hide yo kids, hide yo wife...them scorpions stingin' everbody.

But seriously...wear shoes outside. 'tis the season!
